Hello Ski Fans,

We have an exciting week planned for you! We are all looking forward to the next Telemark Team Night! Back to skiing on snow and the roads as well for the L2C. Important E.C. Manning Training Camp update below

Team Telemark Event

  • Thursday May 12th 6-7:30 pm
  • Run from the Corner of Bear Creek Rd. and Rose Valley Rd. Next to “Broken Rail Ranch Trail Rides” (Bear Cr. West)
  • Bear Creek West Provincial Park
  • This is for Track Attack, T2T and L2C athletes
  • Come participate in our fun Team Telemark XC running event
  • Next Team Telemark Night: Thursday May 26th 6-7:30 pm
    • Run From Eian Lamont Park; 3088 Lakeview Cove Rd West Kelowna BC
  • All Team Telemark Events are available on our Website Calendar!

E.C. Manning Training Camp Date Update

  • July 28-31st 2022
  • Book a site in the Lightning Lakes camp ground May 27th or 28th
  • Last year we had Track Attack, T2T and L2C athletes in attendance
  • We plan to run hike in the park on the 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st days of July
  • The reason for the date change is that there’s a Nordiq Canada Training camp opportunity planned for July 19-24th which is not yet announced

L2C Events

  • Tuesday May 10th SEK Skate South Kelowna Elementary School; Bring Skate and Classic Poles 5-7:30 pm
  • Wednesday May 11th Biathlon Range Practice 5:30-7:30 pm
  • Thursday May 12th Bear Creek West Run 6-7:30 pm
  • Saturday May 14th Apex Mountain Classic Ski; 8 am Van Departure

Here is a link to Ross’s Improving knee drive and ankle mobility to improve ski technique page; also under strength on athletes resource tab. T2T and L2C should be doing these exercises Three times a week.
