Telemark Internal Gear Swap – Saturday October 5th
The internal gear swap aims to match younger skiers with equipment from older team members who out grew their gear from last year. This is not our public ski swap. This is only for members of our TA-L2C groups. There is no consignment fee or commission, but sellers need to be on site to connect with buyers.
- Where: The basement of the main lodge at Telemark
- Equipment Drop off: starts at 9:30. Darren Pendergast will be on site in the basement & can use 1 more volunteer to help
- It’s possible to drop your skier off at practice, then continue up to telemark to drop off your equipment while they are at training.
- Swap starts: 12:00 (after kids are done practice)
- No pre-shopping is allowed
- What to Bring: Race uniforms, ski equipment (Poles, skis, boots)
- Race uniforms – please clean them and make sure they are still in good condition (no holes/tears etc).
- Skis – please clean your skis (remove all grip and glide wax). The skis should be in good condition. Skis with cracks or delaminating bases etc should stay home please
- Poles – Please inspect your poles for damage – no broken equipment please
- Boots – Please inspect your boots to make sure they are in good shape. No SNS boots please.
- IMPORTANT: All items must be labeled with your name and phone number. Telemark won’t be tracking your items. Buyers can negotiate price directly with sellers.
Telemark Bottle Sorting Day – Sunday October 6th
We have 1 more week to collect empties for our fall bottle drive fundraiser. Any remaining empties should be brought to our Sorting day this Sunday
- When: Sunday October 6th at 10am
- Where: At the Paynter Akins farm
- We will meet at the Paynter Aikin Farm to sort our empties
- What to bring: disposable gloves, work clothes, dress for the weather, hand sanitizer
