On February 27 and 28 a group of remarkable women are putting on an event called Stories of Resilience! We will host three one-hour sessions where current or retired female athletes talk about Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport and the importance of female periods, a vital sign of health. We talk about power, what abuse of power looks like, and how to harness your own power. Finally we talk about understanding and embracing failure on the journey. Together the stories we have and the stories we create are about being resilient in sport.
The topics are introduced by experts. The stories from elite athletes will encourage, lift up and give power to girls and women in sport. Our goal is to build a community of athletes that share dreaming big, and in being your best in sport––over the long-term.
Young women, ages 13-~23 can ask questions, be inspired and if needed, directed to additional resources.
How to sign up: Athletes aged 13-23 can register here (no cost)! If you are a coach, parent or sport administrator and would like to participate, you are asked to contact tenille@elementsportscoaching.com.
