Hello Ski Fans,
We are back from Grande Prairie and the Western Canadian Championships now and ready for the next big event; Midgets. Trip hignlights included Alex’s 3rd in both the Classic Indi and Skate Pursuit start while racing up in the Junior Womens catagory. Gareth’s 3rd place CL Indi, 14th Skate Mass Start and 18th SK Prologue. David was 11th, 11th and 7th in the same races. Dana was 22nd in the CL, 31 in the prologue and 29th in the SK Mass Start. Dana had great races despite being sick by the end of the week. Kurt was 29th in the sprint, 30th in the CL and 26th in the SK 30km. This put Kurt into 26th on the stage race. Great Skiing by all Telemark Racers!
We will have a meeting for all of the Midget Parents and Midgets on Wednesday Night following the ski to talk about the most important and Fun event of the year so please attend. Also, if you have not done so already please follow the instructions for registering and other event Information below before tomorrow evening.

The objective of the Teck Midget Championships is to bring young skiers together for a memorable and enjoyable weekend of competition and fun. This event follows a tournament format, where one school or club team ends up the overall winner. Points towards the club aggregate trophy recognize the efforts of as many participants as possible, including the achievements of both individuals and teams.
This event is suitable for beginner through to experienced skiers.
Highlights:
* one year age categories for 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003
* age appropriate courses
* emphasis on participation
* banquet
* Teck toques for each participant
* tons of Fun!!!
