Hello Ski Fans,
Most are aware at this point that the Western Canada Cup part of the Rossland Race has been moved to Sovereign Lake. This applies to the U20 and older Categories. This will be the Fully Team Supported race this weekend. Saturday is Interval Start Classic 2 x 2.5 km (5 km) for females and 4 x 2.5 km (10 km) for males. Sunday is Mass Start Free 10 km for females and 15 km for males on the 5 km world cup course.
You must Re-Register by Wednesday December 8th at 6 pm for the Sovereign Western Canada Cup 3 and 4; Click Here ASAP! A refund will be coming to those who are registered in Rossland and email the Race Secretary: blackjack.noram@gmail.com

What to expect at a Team Supported Race Weekend
- Bring Your Skis Clean to the Wax team; Absolutely no grip wax!
- Make Sure your skis are at the race site minimum 2 hours before Start Time
- If you know which Classic Skis you are using we can collect those Wednesday at Training; this is prefered
Kootenay Cup Rossland
- Jamie is planning on leading a team to this event
- The Revelstoke Team will help with grip wax selection
- You are responsible for your own ski preparation
- If you are not going to Rossland cancel your accommodations immediately
- You should email the race secretary about pulling your athlete out of the race ASAP if not attending; blackjack.noram@gmail.com

Current Track Attack Rules
- We are currently reverting to our previous winter rules for this group
- Before Every Group Training Session All individuals must complete a self-assessment of Health
- Physical Distancing is Required. “Snowflake!” Stay 2 meters apart at all times
- Maximum Youth Athlete Group size of 12
- Track Attack group require additional support from parents to help encourage our rules. We should try to avoid more than 1 parent for every 4 skiers
- No sharing of food or Water
- No equipment should be shared
- Carpooling is not recommended (Wear a Mask if you do)
