Hello Ski Fans,

Last night we ran the June Spring Short TT which is a 1 km Uphill Time Trial. Lots of Fun and a pretty good turn out. There were significant improvements in times for some. Great Job Guys! Lets see how much more time we can knock off before winter.

The video does not contain Mason struggling with a broken pole tip because that was to painful to watch;) Thanks to Chris Halldorson for Filming this nice Video of the Action for us!

Remember that Next Thursday will have a Ski Season Kick Off for JD and TR1 at Strathcona Beach at 6pm. August 20th.

Hi,
I am passing along this message from Eliza-Jane Kitchen, who will be joining the Telemark race team for the upcoming season and who is also attending Okanagan College. Eliza-Jane is looking for a place to rent this academic year.

My name is Eliza-Jane Kitchen, I am eighteen and just graduated from high school. I am a former member of the Larch Hills Ski Club and the Hollyburn Race Team. I am a member of the Junior National Team and want to continue cross country ski racing. This fall I am moving to Kelowna to be a part of the Telemark Racers. As well, I am attending Okanagan College to further my studies. Currently, I am looking for a place to live. I would be interested in a billet situation or renting a basement suite or room. Due to being a competitive athlete throughout high school I have not had the opportunity to work. Therefore I don’t know have a lot of money saved to pursue my passion of skiing. In return for you letting me rent a space in your house I would be willing to cook, clean, babysit and drive kids to practice. If you are able or know someone who is able to help me it would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know as soon as possible.
