Tree Planting and Party Info

May 27, 2016 Posted by Brent

Tree Planting (a vital fundraiser for our Team)
– This Saturday and Sunday
– You can sign up for both days or ½ days. It is your choice. The more trees planted, the more revenue generated for our program.
– Athletes are encouraged to plant. Child labour is great! They will be giving back to the planet.
– If you haven’t signed up, you can do so here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1ohVFp4uY8hgAA7gnxc6lMGZQMM8Wfh8Fl45rpmEcL8g/viewform?usp=send_form
– Rendezvous times are 0830 and 1230.
– Location. Drive 25 Km up the Coquihalla Connector to the Brenda Mine Interchange. Turn right off the highway at the Interchange. A crew will escort us to the planting site. If you are late, there will be signage leading you to the site. If problems, call Brent 250 864-2303.
– Wear long pants and proper boots. Bring a lunch and water. Mosquito repellant and sunscreen recommended too.
– here will be instructions at the start for all new planters and will be a good refresher for those that planted before.
– The rate for planting is $.25/tree.
– Thinking of car-pooling? Feel free to connect with the parents who have signed up thus far (attached)
– Please thank Ntityix Resources LP for supporting this activity for us.
Year-End Party
– Saturday at 5 pm
– Telemark Day Lodge
– Potluck. Sign up here link
– There is a BBQ. We will have a supply of Race Team hot dogs for the grill.
– There is lots of room for the kids to run around and play.
See you this weekend
