It is with regret that Biathlon BC announces that the BC Cup 1 scheduled for December 17-19 in Whistler has been postponed. The essential travel highway restrictions and the limited fuel supply on the Coast are not expected to be lifted in time for athletes to confidently travel to the event.
Biathlon BC intends on moving the BC Cup 1 to a date to be determined in late January or mid-February. An update on revised dates will be provided as soon as possible.
Everyone who has already registered for this event (John, Timur, Tamiris, Steve, Alex, Sophie, William, Tyler, Jasmine) will have thier registration carried over to the revised dates. There is no need to re-register. Refunds for registrations fees will be available for those who wish, but it is recommended that you wait until we know the dates of the postponed event.
