Wax, Run, Run and Run

November 4, 2013 Posted by Coach Adam

Hello Ski Fans,

WAX. We will be running a parents wax clinic at my house Tuesday November 5th at 6pm; 2755 Guidi Rd. W-Kelowna. If you have a skier in this program you will want to learn how to care for skis. It is particularly helpful if you have the skills on race day to help out; this is better than trying to teach application when we need to pump out a excellent product in a short time. Please take this opportunity to come and learn how now!

Bring a pair of classic skis and be prepared to get your hands dirty.

RUN. Tuesday November 5th at 6pm there will also be a team workout; JD TR1 and TR2. Also starting and finishing at Adam’s house. Bring a Headlamp and dry clothes for afterwards.

RUN. Thursday November 7th Coach Gillian Warner will be leading the JDs and TR1s on a run and some Strength Work at Sutherland Park which is near Knox Mountain. Bring a Headlamp and dry clothes for afterwards. Tr2s will be Skate Roller Skiing at the CNC.

RUN. Saturday November 9th Ross and Paul will lead a Run From Rose Valley Elementary at 10am. Expect some quality intensity training! Bring Bounding Poles, Water and Dry stuff for afterwards.

There will likely be some skiing somewhere this weekend but it not going to be very good. We will do well to wait a week.

Kelowna Cycle will always give anyone involved in this program a great deal on equipment any day of any week but their members night is November 13th. Stay tuned for more details.

Say no to Snow Plow!

Adam

Ps. I would also like to congratulate James Sader on his  “B” category Victory of the  Kelowna Cycle Cyclo-Crawws event!

PPs. Congrats to Jon Sader for doing such a good job of cleaning my bike despite Bonking in the “A” race!

Thumbs UP!Jon SaderWaxes, tools & benchHalloJon Sader2
