Hello Ski Fans,
It was great to see so many of you racing Sunday at our local Loppet. Results are available here: http://zone4.ca/results.asp?ID=5363&cat=all
Here are the results on the Saturday Slalom Race: 2013SummerRdSlalomResults
Last Years Results for the Summer Road Slalom:https://race.teamtelemark.ca/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/2011SummerRdSlalomResults.pdf The Course was slower this year because of the tightness before the intersections. Times were compared between years with a small bonus to calculate the points.
Here is a summary of all of the points collected in the Tour de Telemark so far: 2013 Tour de Telemark Points Summary Skiers doing 30km were calculated off of their first lap and given a small bonus.
Here is the resulting Start List from the results of the points collection:
Predicted Time’s were created by using times from the June Springs TT, Past Crystal Rim TT’s, The traditional Pace Per km Calculation and the Results of the Summer Road Time Trial. Then the Bonus Points were added as time bonuses. The more points you collected the bigger your theoretical advantage. On the far side is your predicted finish time. If you beat that you look good and I will look wrong… If there were no time bonuses and my calculations were perfect everyone would finish at the same time. Please be on time tonight as we will need to ski out to the start line and any delays will leave many people out in the cold. Skiers who preformed better than they normally do get an advantage but if you preform better than I calculated that you can still win this thing. Always try your hardest, that is how you get faster. This is going to be Great!
Here are the Summer Road Hill Climb results for this year and last. Last year everyone went from Forest to the Top and this year only the TR2 Boys did. Everyone Else Started from the Power Box at the Start of Rabbit. Those starting at the bottom had their times taken when skiing by the other start so that they have 2 times to the top; one from Forest and one from Rabbit.
Tour Finally! Yay for me! Adam
