Summer Rollerski Workshop Opportunity

July 1, 2012 Posted by Barry

Haakon Lenes and Julia Ransom from the Canadian Junior National team are putting on two rollerski workshops between July 16th and 21st in Kelowna. The workshops will be in the evenings and parents are welcome to attend. Haakon and Julia will be providing mentoring to allow interested athletes to learn proper rollerski technique – they want to help our Telemark athletes get even better!

The only cost is to cover liability through Biathlon BC – a one-day membership is $5 – you can get that at the workshop. The sessions are open to all Telemark athletes (biathlon and race team). Location is likely West Kelowna, but still to be confirmed.  Any level welcome, from beginner to expert, classic or skate.

You must have your own rollerskis (skate or classic), poles, gloves and safety vest (knee and elbow pads optional).

If you want to attend, please sign up by following this link.

This is a great opportunity to improve your skills!  Julia and Haakon will make it fun!!
