1. Sovereign Lakes Nordic is having a Poker Ski and barbeque this Saturday ( http://www.sovereignlake.com/ ). Looks like good fun and I know they’re still getting a lot of snow so the conditions should be pretty nice. This is their last weekend of grooming in April.
2. As a bunch of you know already, I’m doing the ride to conquer cancer as a fundraiser for the BC Cancer Agency this June. When you decide that you’re done skiing this spring (don’t forget that Sovereign opens for a couple of weeks in May!) I’d be happy to summer wax skis for small donations to the Ride.
