Saturday’s Day Camp

September 8, 2016 Posted by Paul

Hello Ski Fans,

This Saturday is our first dryland day camp full of adventure and camaraderie!  Here is a rough schedule for what we’ll be doing –

Morning – TR2/Elite will be leaving from the Gellatly Nut Farm on classic roller skis at 9 am.  TJR/TR1 athletes will meet at Helen Gorman Elementary School at 10 am on skate roller skis.  JD athletes will meet at Telemark for a fun trail run at 10:30 am.

Mid-Day – Lunch at the lodge with goal setting and info session for the season, plus a quick strength sessionT G

Afternoon – Team building games and fun, followed by a cool trail clearing project to polish up the loop on our sprint course.

Head back home – 2:30 pm

What to bring –

Water, a packed lunch, a second set of clothes for after lunch that you don’t mind getting dirty

If roller skiing – helmet, gloves, poles with rollerski tips installed, roller skis, boots, and a reflective vest

If running – running clothes and possibly a hat

A big smile
