Hello Ski Fans,
TR2s will be skiing again on Thursday Nov. 26th 2015 at Telemark 5pm Skate. We recommend rock skis but so far we haven’t hit any rocks on Telemark Trail.
The Telemark Racers and the BC Ski Team have done lots of quality intensity work this fall. We tend to run the clock to help skier’s motivate themselves to really push and improve. Here are some of the results. Summer Road Hill Bounding TT. Same course as in winter except without skis. Think that you can ride your Cyclocross bike to the top faster than some hill bounding skiers in muddy conditions… think again!
A skate Time Trial done on Glenrosa Road. Note that there are times for 2 kms in November and 1.75 km in August which cannot really be compared. In the November go, up hill from Telemark, there was some gravel on the road which made fast times difficult:
This Was the results of the Fun Sprint race we ran at Sovereign during the BC Ski Team Camp. Being a race official with wet paper is not much fun… two mistakes were made (people forgotten).
Here is the results of the time trial we did with the nickel plate team. No nickel plate skiers started unfortunately 🙁
