Race Team Welcome Party 7pm September 24th 2013

September 18, 2013 Posted by Coach Adam

Well, I believe Rebecca worded this best:

“Telemark’s head coach Adam Elliot and Telemark Nordic Race Team are hosting a Welcome Party for any kids and parents who are involved with, or interested in joining the Junior Development and Telemark Racers programs.  This is an opportunity for you to find out about the programs, meet the other parents and kids involved, and share in a pre-ski season party.”

So just to be clear this is for everyone (parent and skier) who is involved or thinking of being involved with our program; at least 1 family member should attempt to be represent you.

I created this signup sheet so that you can RSVP if you are coming and also let us know if you can bring an Appetizer, Salad or Dessert. http://www.volunteersignup.org/4LYWX

We will be providing BBQ’d Smokies and Buns plus some Juice. Please sign up ASAP so that we can purchase the right amount of food.

Sign up Here: http://www.volunteersignup.org/4LYWX

We will be presenting information about:
Team Mission, Team Rules, Athlete and Parent Agreement, Dry-land Training, On-Snow Training, Races, Race Registration and Licenses, Race Categories, Race Management Plans, Race Plans, Goals, Nutrition, Cross Country BC Athlete Development System, Training Camps, Uniforms and Volunteering Opportunities.

Please Read the “2013 Athlete and Parent Agreement” found under “Athlete forms” on the Athlete Resources Tab of our website before the party since we will likely ask you to sign it there. Here: https://race.teamtelemark.ca/athlete-resources/athlete-and-parent-agreement/

Date: September 24th
Time: 7pm
Location: 1604 Lambert Ave
your hosts: Paul Shipley and Rebecca Tyson
250-860-2685 or rebecca.c.tyson@gmail.com

Thank You,

Adam Elliot
