It is fall and it is dark. We can not have kids running in the bush without lights. There was a much higher rate of bleeding and crying last night than is acceptable. Lights not only help your kids see, they also help the coaches find your kids if they are hurt or lost.
Starting now, any athletes that show up without lights will have to have a parent stay with them and can not join the group when we leave the lighted area. I know that it is hard to get kids organized and fed before training, but it has gotten dark enough that last night was getting pretty dodgy from a safety point of view.
