As many of you noticed this week, Gareth is back from a *very* successful trip on the BC Ski Team trip to Europe! I think it’s best summarized in his own words in his blog at http://garethwilliamsxc.com/?p=282 where he shares his stories and photos from the trip. Great work skiing and writing!
We are very lucky in BC to have a remarkable list of great opportunities for training and competition. At Telemark we know the route to getting to take advantage of these opportunities is through heaps of repetition of correct movements. If you ever wonder why we are so picky about technique when we’re out on a relaxed volume ski, my brief answer to you is neurophysiology. This TedEd video gives a very brief overview of the neurophysiological advantages of proper training, and is well worth a watch!
