Parents. Please mark Saturday Dec 3rd down for Team Training Camp at Telemark. This will include a wax clinic for parents, an opportunity to exchange/sell old uniforms, a parents’ meeting, and a potluck dinner. For those of you who are new to the sport, this session is a must. If you cannot make it, please do not hesitate to reach out to the coaching team. We are here to help you. The website is also a great resource. Okanagan Regional Camp Success!
The Okanagan regional snow camp was a success due to Adam’s hard work, all the coaches doing what they do best, the excellent cooks, enthusiastic kids and last but not least snow.
Make sure to give coach Adam a big thank you! Organizing a regional camp is a lot of work under ideal situations. Unfortunately Silverstar resort threw a curve ball, forcing a change in accomodation to the Silverlode. This happened on the Wednesday before the camp…
There was also lots of stress dealing with the lack of snow, thankfully mother nature cooperated and brought in some white stuff just in time.
It was great to see all the skiers really improve their technique and fitness since last season. All the hard work is paying off!
