Hello Ski Fans,

We discovered yesterday when skiing at the beautiful Nickel Plate that they are hosting a little 10 km mass start race Saturday at 11 am. Your Choice of technique. Entry fee is a food donation to the foodbank.

TR2 and TR-Elite will race Skate. This is an ideal race to prepare for WJRT; similar altitude and the same as planned on the training. 8:15 at my house to carpool. The Hollyburn-Elite will also be participating.

We have a special guest attending our Race Team Christmas luncheon on Friday!  No, it is not Santa Claus, but you are close!  Hint.  She wore the “Red and White” with pride at the Rio Olympics.  That is right…Kelowna’s very own Olympic swimming finalist, Kierra Smith, will be speaking to our athletes at 12:30 pm in the lodge.  All are welcome to listen to this inspiring athlete.  Kierra will sign autographs.  Bring a felt pen and something for her to sign (e.g. toque)
