We had a solid day of tree planting on Saturday–3000 trees planted which earned our team $750! However, we lost our opportunity to plant on Sunday (road to site washed out after Brenda Mines released too much water from their dam). That said, I am pleased to report that Ntityix Resources (a Westbank First Nation’s forestry company) has generously doubled what we made on Saturday to make up for our losses. Total revenue earned: $1500. That is extremely generous of Ntityix. I would encourage all of you to send Richard MacKenzie (Biathlon Parent and forester for Ntityix) a big thank you for arranging this opportunity for us. We will also arrange to send WFN a picture of our team to hang on their office wall.
