BC Cup 1 and CWGs Trials Whistler Jan 7-8th 2023

  • Race Notice!
  • Important Information about Registration: Able-bodied athletes wishing to be considered for Canada Winter Games (CWG) selection can register in U20 or U18 age categories (Men), or in U20, U18 or U16 age categories (Women) in the distance race as those categories will be seeded together. This should allow athletes to earn BC Cup aggregate points in their own age category, as they normally would. However, all able-bodied athletes need to be registered in the U20 age categories for the sprint race if they wish to be considered for Canada Games selection. If entry numbers permit, the race organizers will combine the U18 with U20 age categories for the heats. If this happens, timing officials will produce overall results for CWG selection purposes and also provide separate U18 and U20 category results for the purpose of BC Cup aggregate points.
