Hello biathlon families
There are a number of biathlon events for this week!
Oct 26 – T2T Range Session – Special Tuesday Evening Edition
Due to the Day camp on the weekend, the T2T range practice was cancelled, so we will be having a special Tuesday evening practice to make up for it. The range practice will be from 18:00-19:30 and will be under the lights! We will be doing a similar workout as the nordic T2T practice. It will get chilly quite fast in the evening, please bring the following:
- Warm clothing – it will be chilly and damp.
- Head lamps – the range is lit, but the surrounding area is not
- Ski striding poles
Oct 28 – L2C Range Session – as normal!
Oct 31 – Halloween Regional Biathlon Time Trial
Our final running biathlon time trial before we get on snow! We will be having guests from Sovereign Lake join us for this event too, so it should be a good race. Costumes encouraged but optional!
Halloween Regional Biathlon Time Trial Details:
Format: Sprint
Arrive and setup: 9:40
Zero & warm up: 10:00-10:45
Race start: 11:00
Wrap up games: 11:45-12:00
Race course:
Jr B/G: 3 x brown loop (2.5km)
Shoot prone 2 times, run 3 loops
Penalties for misses: 100m Penalty lap
Sr B/G and Older: 3 x orange loop (4.7km)
Shoot PS, run 3 loops
Penalties for misses: 100m Penalty lap
