Hi Ski Fans!

I know we’re still hot and heavy in Ski Season, and it’s a little hard to think about summer sports, but the Kelowna Paddling Centre is hosting an information night next Friday.  Coach Paul thinks paddling is great cross-training!

Don‘t miss your chance to register for the BEST RACE OF THE YEAR!!!  The BC Midget Championships is this coming weekend at our home club, and is a weekend full of fun and exciting events for all abilities!  If you or your child was born in 2004,5,6, or 7 it is time to get on Zone4 and register!

The objectives of the Teck BC Midget Championships are to:

• bring young skiers together for a memorable and enjoyable weekend of cross country ski competition and fun
• meet the needs of a wide range of skill levels and ski experience
• encourage achievement through team effort
• encourage good ski technique

The saddest day in any kid’s ski career is the day they realize they’ve skied their last Midget Championships!  They will have a weekend of fun and making new ski buddies.  Kids in all of Telemark’s programs are encouraged to participate!
