Best place to stay: Inn of the Rockies.  This place is fantastic!  2-story 2-bedroom suites with full kitchen, dishwasher, fireplace, and ensuite laundry.  Bathrooms upstairs and down.  And the price is really reasonable.  But don’t book on-line.  Call direct 403-675-6669.  They have a special negotiated rate for Telemark single or group bookings.

– Your navigation system will take you to the wrong location.  The race HQ is at the Liberty Bell High School, which is 4K East of Winthrop, about 100 meters South of highway 20 on Twin Lakes Road.  The map below is correct.

– The Wapiti Nordic Ski Club is one of Canada’s premier cross country skiing and biathlon facilities.
– Places to stay: cheaper, or better.  Both are 15 minutes North of the facility.
