CCBC is offering an officials training course in Salomon arm and is looking for individuals who are interested in helping to run larger events such as BC Cups.

Officials Level 2 Training Registration
The Nordiq Canada Officials Level 2 Certification Course for cross country skiing provides more in-depth information about the roles for the organizing committee and is recommended for officials organizing events sanctioned at the provincial level. The focus is on the duties of officials for both “Olympic” style (interval start, pursuit start, mass start, relays and sprints) and “Loppet” style (mass participation) competitions.
Prerequisites
Completed the Officials Level 1 course.
Volunteer experience at 3 events.
COVID-19 vaccination – 2 doses.
Course Schedule
January 29-30, 2022. (Sat and Sun) (rescheduled from December 4-5, 2021)
8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
(half hour break for lunch)
Participants need to be registered on the Nordiq Canada Officials website with their certification entered and experience log up to date.

A notepad and pen. If possible, please bring a laptop or tablet computer. Lunch, snacks and water.
