First Annual Telemark Training Day / Potluck (JD and TR1’s) Oct 19th

First Annual Telemark Training day / Potluck

Here are the details on our first annual training day. The goals are to have a day of fitness, fun, team building, education and food. Our activities will start at Helen Gorman, but will take place at the ski club.  All their stuff will get shuttled up to the clubhouse

We will need volunteers to guide the athletes rollerski up to Telemark, volunteers to help with the afternoon jog/ hike, and of course volunteers to make massive amounts of delicious food for the potluck (especially dessert).

If you or your athlete cannot attend all day, please join us for part of the day and/or for the potluck

9:30 meet at Helen Gorman School
Tr1’s roller ski to Telemark from school, JD’s shuttled to top of steep climb or
Cattle guard
OPTION: if inexperienced roller skiing, can run to Telemark with rollers skiers

11:00 Arrive at Telemark – free time

12:00 lunch – on own

12:30 Team building activities and Goal Setting

1:30 Core / movement patterns / balance

2:00 Education – basic training information

2:30 capture the flag / snack

3:00 45 – 1 hour run / hike

4:00 stretching

4:30 pot luck with all the parents
