This week in L2T/T2T (TJr/Tr1)

October 22, 2017 Posted by Coach Adam

Thanks to Coach Paul and the Shipley’s for their hospitality last Saturday for the wax clinic and barbeque.

This week we will be hill bounding at Rose Valley on Tuesday.ย  So please bring your bounding poles and, as always, your energy and positive attitudes. On Thursday, we will be meeting in the main parking lot at Parkinson Rec. Center (instead of Bankhead Elementary). This was proposed by Coach Deepa. We will ski from here on our usual routes along the Rails to Trails pavement, but will finish off with strength/agility in the new playground and outdoor fitness facilities. On Saturday we will be doing a long run around Rose Valley Reservoir. Please come prepared with snacks and adequate water and proper clothing for the forecasted weather as the adventure will likely be around 2.5 hours. Parents are encouraged to join us!

NST Quality Skis and Gear for Sale!

October 22, 2017 Posted by Coach Adam

Hello Team,

Allyson was a Skier on our National Team so she definitely has some good quality skis. Thanks, Adam

Her Message to You:

I are trying to sell some of our gear and I was wondering if you would pass around the info to the ski team in case anyone needs skis/poles. Here is what we have with prices (all OBO). We are happy for skiers to test the skis on snow before committing ๐Ÿ™‚

Skis (all with Salomon bindings):

Fischer Speedmax plus skate skis (these were one of my fastest race skis), 182 cm – $400

Fischer zeros โ€“ 197 cm, good for someone above 145 lbs (tested fast but they were too stiff for me so theyโ€™ve barely been used)- $400

Salomon Equipe 10 skate โ€“ 191 cm, cold ski, good race pair ~150-170 lbs – $350

Salomon Equipe 10 zeros – 201 cm ~145-165 lbs – $300

Salomon Equipe 10 classic โ€“ 201 cm, all-round warm ski ~145-165 lbs – $300

Salomon Equipe 10 classic skis (more of a training ski)โ€“ 206 cm – $250

Salomon Equipe 10, classic skis, (older model โ€“ more of a training or intro ski) 140-160 lbs – $200

Poles:

Leki Super Shark World Cup poles, 155ย  cm or 145 cm – $175/pair

Swix Triacs 147.5 cm – $200
