Nov 11th Tr1 / TJR Run around the lake Part II

Meet at Rose Valley school ready to run at 10am.  Plan for 14km low intensity quick walk / Run around Rose Valley Lake.

Plan for 2 1/2 – 3 hours of moving.  Plan to bring snacks and water and dress appropriately for whatever weather we will encounter.

We will observe a moment of silence at 11am

 

There is no scheduled practice for Tuesday night, but practice will be on Thursday night at Bankhead

Also note that we plan to be snow skiing, yes snow, on Sunday Nov 15th at Sovereign Lake.  Details are on the calender.

 

 

 

 

‘Klister Fest 2015’

 

 

TR1 / TJR Wax & Klister Clinic – November 1st

Time: Right after the CCC /  NST testing at the Apple Bowl

Location: Coach Paul’s House – 1604 Lambert Ave.

Bring Classic skis & Skate Skis.  Wax Bench, Wax Iron, Extension cords, scrapers, brushes, corks, klister and harwax (blue and red).

The team will not have enough wax benches and forms, irons, heat guns, extension cords, scrapers, brushes, corks, klister and harwax (blue and red), etc. for all the kids so please bring them from home!

The TR1 group will be learning to apply soft hardwax and klister, and how to remove the stickiness without making a huge mess…

The TJR group will be learning to apply blue hardwax,  ironing in glide wax, as well as scraping and brushing.
