It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our dear friend, Denis Brown.

I am sure each one of you will recognize Denis from one of the race events hosted at Telemark, Sovereign Lake, Nickel Plate…you name it.  Denis was a tireless volunteer and his enthusiasm for life was not only remarkable but inspirational.

He will be missed by many people.  Our deepest sympathy goes out to Denis’ family; wife Gill, daughters Amanda & Megan and son, Daniel, who ski raced with Telemark for years.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 24th, 2015 at 12:30pm at the Penticton Lakeside Resort, Salons A/B, 21 Lakeshore Drive, West, Penticton.

Due to the weather conditions at Telemark, the race trails have a lot of debris on them.  We are inviting parents and racers to help clear debris off the race trails on Saturday after practice.  We won’t take more than an hour of your time.

What is needed: Please bring a rake.

Tim Mayer and James Williams will lead this initiative and direct everyone where to go.
