Please read carefully as not all athletes are expected to attend all these race events. If in doubt, please connect with one of the coaches to determine if your athlete should be racing.

If you plan on attending you need to call the hotel and reserve one of these block booked rooms, with your credit card, before the release date specified.

CCBC is planning on scheduling a CCC Level 1 Officials course later in November or early December. Likely it will be at Sovereign Lake. The Telemark Nordic Club will pay for your course fee. Just a note that all volunteers who want to take on a ‘Chief’ role at the upcoming loppet or Okanagan Cup require a minimum certification of Level 1.

The following is a course description:

Level 1
An eight hour course that provides an overview of what a cross country ski competition is all about. The focus is on the duties of minor officials for both ‘Olympic’ style (interval start, mass start, pursuit start, individual sprint, team sprint and relay) and ‘Loppet’ style (mass participation) competitions.

8 hrs / course. The course fee for CCC/CCBC members is $80.00.
