Race License and funding Jump Start

October 5, 2011 Posted by Coach Adam

This is the time of year that people begin asking me for my coaching number so that they can get their racing licenses.
To compete is most race one can purchase a day license. To go to major races or qualify for teams one needs a Cross Country Canada Race license.

Typical day license fees are $5 to $10 per race and the Cross Country Canada license is $55 per year.

My Coaching Number CC984975
and level of Certification “Training 2 Train” T2T Completed
If you are old enough (13 this year) and wish to make any BC teams for trips or the season you need a Cross Country Canada Race license which can be found here:

https://store.cccski.com/apps.asp

Canadian Tire has a sport funding oportunity for children called “Jump Start” to help cover stuff like registration fees. Information is available here:

Thank You,

Adam Elliot

Thank you for the information. What is the cost for a day license? Do we need a day license for each day of competition if it is a 2-day race?
