Food for this weekends camp

November 23, 2011 Posted by Coach Adam

Hi all,

Well after a great Saturday of skiing at Sovereign this weekend, looks like it’s time for the Snow Camp up there. A few parents have asked if they can help out in the Kitchen. I am hoping that I will have most of it taken care of and I was thinking Kraft Dinner 3 times a day should have it covered 🙂 .

If you would like to donate some time and send up cookies and baked treats that would be the most appreciated by the kids. I will ration them out 3 treats for me and 1 for the kids… I think that is only fair.

I believe we have all the food allergies taken care of. If we are not aware already please let us know if there is any kid who will explode if they eat the wrong thing.

FYI. The kids will have to do their own dishes, so make sure you have them practicing doing the dishes at home all week.

Looking forward to a fun weekend.

Scott

Just to prove I will be feeding children here is an update of shopping run # 1

    Hi Scott,
So if you do not need any extra help, I will just send Michelle with a bag of Gluten Free foods: Cereal, Pasta, Bread…
Call me if you you need to clarify anything for her. 250-860-4448.
Cross-contamination is an important issue…no sharing of communal butter/PB/Jam/Mayo jars. No sharing utensils with non GF products. I usually serve her first to make sure I do not cross contaminate for her. I think I will just send a full bag of meals for her. If you could keep her food separate and labelled whever you store it that would be great.
    Thanks,
    Kari
