Hello Ski Fans,
Yesterday I realized that the emails I had sent from my coachadam@teamtelemark.ca email account had not worked correctly since March 3rd. None of those emails were properly sent as far as I can tell. Sorry about that! Luckily Barry was able to help me fix the problem today.
Spring here? I do not recall ever not being able to ski into April at Telemark in all my years. I still feel that we were lucky to have the season that we have had compared to most of the rest of the province. We have Skate skiing planned at Sovereign Lakes on Saturday at 10:30 am. Meet at KMT if you would like to try and carpool.
Nationals went very well for Telemark skiers. Gareth and David skied amazingly well to finish second in the team sprint. Gareth scored a third place the next day individual skate. Both David and Gareth were very close to the podium for the rest of the week usually in the top ten. Madeleine learned a lot about racing at this level and finished mid-pack in all of Her races. Keep in mind that Mid-pack out of the best skiers in Canada is very good. Pro Tip “Stay on your Feet” Every second and tenth of a second counts for lots at this level.
